Brendan is an Associate at Unfold Ventures, where he brings his passion for the consumer world and expertise in investment.
Previously, Brendan was at Whipstitch Capital, a boutique investment bank focused on the consumer space. There, he was able to work on both capital raise and M&A deals for retail and DTC brands across a variety of categories including food, beverage, and personal care.
While at Whipstitch, Brendan was exposed to several consumer-focused venture, growth and private equity funds including Unfold, and found an increasing interest in the investment side.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from University of Maryland.
Christine is a Director at Unfold Ventures, where she brings investment experience across all stages of consumer businesses.
Previously, Christine was an investor at VMG Partners, where she invested in growth and venture stage companies across consumer products and technologies. She worked on and supported numerous investments, such as Weee! and Hello Bello, as well as the exits for Nature’s Bakery (acquired by KIND) and Yatsen (IPO). Prior to VMG, Christine was a private equity investor at Brightstar Capital Partners, where she executed platform buy-and-build strategies and worked closely with management on tuck-in acquisitions and business development. Christine started her career in investment banking at Deutsche Bank, with a focus on M&A advisory, and facilitated Owens & Minor’s divestiture to Halyard Health.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Scott is a General Partner at Unfold Ventures, where he brings entrepreneurial and investment experience to serve growing businesses. He invests in consumer businesses across both physical products and digital services.
Scott has invested in over twenty early and growth stage companies, often serving as an advisor or independent board director. Previously, Scott co-founded and served as CEO and CMO of Sir Kensington's, best known for making condiments with character, which was successfully acquired by Unilever. Scott has been named one of Fast Company's “Most Creative People in Business” and listed on Forbes' “30 Under 30.”
He holds a degree in Economics from Brown University.
Shamez is a General Partner of Unfold Ventures. He is a member of the Devonshire Investment Committee and the Strategic Investment Committee for FMR LLC, the parent company of Fidelity Investments, and contributes to a number of investment strategies across the firm.
Prior to joining Devonshire, Shamez was co-head of Capital One’s venture group for 15 years. Prior to Capital One, Shamez co-founded the Clearview Group, a venture studio that incubated or was an initial investor in a number of several successful start-ups including Medassets.com (MDAS), Endurance International Group (EIGI), and Greenlight.com (INET). Shamez started his career as a management consultant at Bain and Company. Shamez holds a BA magna cum laude from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Suzanne is a General Partner at Unfold Ventures, where she brings deep experience in consumer goods.
Suzanne has been with Devonshire Investors for 15 years. She previously worked as an operating executive for Backyard Farms, New England’s largest grower of fresh tomatoes, as well as with a number of other Devonshire portfolio companies.
Prior to Devonshire, Suzanne held business development, strategy and marketing positions at Dunkin’ Brands. She led the launch of Dunkin’ Donuts packaged coffee into retail and foodservice and drove the brand’s expansion into new distribution channels. Earlier, she consulted for Strategic Decisions Group, a boutique strategy firm focused on improving the quality of strategic decision making.
She holds an MBA from Stanford University and BS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
